GoVasool.com is India’s largest online group buying marketplace. As a buyer on GoVasool you can join other buyers who want to buy the same product and get bulk discounts from retailers. You can also compare prices from different retailers in your city. As a retailer you can get access to thousands of new customers and increase your sales and branding.

2. What kinds of things can I do on GoVasool?
As a buyer you can start a buying group or join an existing buying group to get special bulk discounts from retailers. GoVasool will help you connect with other buyers who want to buy the same product and hence benefit all of you with bulk discounts when you purchase together from retailers. You can also compare products based on price and features, rate and write reviews about products and retailers. As a retailer you can start or bid on a buying group and increase your sales by reaching out to thousands of new customers. You can also rate and review buyers and run promotions for your stores and products.

3. What's the story behind GoVasool?
GoVasool.com's mission is to build an advanced and innovative marketplace where buyers can get all time best prices and retailers can cost effectively increase sales. GoVasool.com's Co-founders have educational backgrounds from IIT-Madras, IIM-Ahmedabad and significant experience in Retail, Marketing, Logistics, Technology and Business Development. The Co-founders having worked across India, Europe and the US returned to India in May 2008 with an intense passion to provide innovative ecommerce solutions that will significantly enhance online shopping experience for the Indian consumer.

4. How do I get bulk discounts on GoVasool?
As a GoVasool user, you get bulk discounts by joining other buyers who want to buy the same product. You can join these other buyers by creating or joining ‘buying groups’ that retailers bid on. As more buyers join buying groups, the prices go down and this new lower price encourages more buyers to join buying groups and the cycle continues.

5. How do I join a buying group?
Search or browse for your favorite product using our search box (on top of the page) or our browse menu (on left of the page). Next to each product’s image you will find the “Join Group” button. Clicking this button takes you to the Group Home Page, which gives you details about the buying group – products, retailer bids, number of buyers in the group, effective discount and time left for the group to close. Here you can join the buying group. If a buying group does not exist for a product you can start a buying group.

6. How do I start a buying group?
Search or browse for favorite product using our search box (on top of the page) or our browse menu (on left of the page). Next to each product’s image you will find the “Create Group” button. Clicking this button takes you to a screen were you can select a product and add group description to start a new buying group.

7. Can I get updates on what’s happening in my buying groups?
Of course you can. We provide such updates by default. You will get email updates every time a new buyer joins your group, a retailer places a bid, a group is about to close and a payment confirmation is required.

8. How long does it take for a buying group to close?
You can create groups that last for 3/5/7 days. In each case you will have 24 hours to confirm the order after the group closes.

9. How do I pay for my purchase and get my products delivered?
Currently, we support online credit card and debit card payments. We will soon be adding Credit / Debit Card on delivery and Internet Banking support. Please fill up your home address and contact number in the checkout form and we will call you to schedule the delivery at a time of your convenience.

Of course you can. Our top priority is to make GoVasool a secure and credible webite. Your retailer ratings will help us do that. You can rate retailers by clicking on the yellow stars icon below each retailers name and then logging in. You can also write reviews for retailers.

13. What products does GoVasool currently sell. May I request for a specific product that you currently don’t offer on your website?
GoVasool currently lists a range of products in electronics and home appliances. We are quickly adding other categories. Please let us know if there is a specific category you would like to shop on GoVasool.

14. What is the ‘buy it now’ feature?
Apart from buying in groups on GoVasool, you can also choose to buy a product individually at the ‘Best Price’ listed below the product. This is the best price that the retailer will offer the product and you can get it shipped instantly.

15. How do I sign up to be GoVasool’s retail partner?

16. What kind of things can I do as GoVasool’s retail partner?
As GoVasool’s retail partner you can bid on buying groups, start a buying group, rate and comment on a buyer and supply buyers with products.

17. As a retail partner, how do I start a buying group?
After you have logged in, search or browse for the product of your choice using our search box (on top of the page) or our browse menu (on left of the page). Next to each product’s image you will find a “Create Group” button to start a new buying group for this product. Here you can select if you want to start a buying group for a single product or a number of products. After this you will be taken to a page were you can enter details about your group offers.

18. As a retail partner, How do I place bids?
Search or browse for the product of your choice using our search box (on top of the page) or our browse menu (on left of the page). Next to each product’s image you will find a button “Place Bid” to bid on a existing buying group. After this you will be taken to a page were you can fill in bid details.

19. Why hasn’t GoVasool launched in my city yet?
We have currently launched in Bangalore and want to ensure that our Bangalore users have a seamless experience. As soon as we have ensured that, we will be rapidly forming partnerships and launching in your city very soon. 20. As a buyer do I have to pay to use GoVasool’s services?
No. As a buyer, GoVasool is absolutely free for your unlimited usage. So please go ahead and use GoVasool to its full extent and invite your friends and family to do the same.
